What does commuting across the Øresund cost per month?
It depends on your route, your transport mode and how many days you travel. A monthly train pass, a bridge commuter agreement plus fuel, or a mix of both produce very different numbers — the calculator estimates each and lets you override with your own figure.
Is the train or the car cheaper?
For daily commuters the train pass is often the more predictable option, while the car adds bridge crossings, fuel and Copenhagen parking. Fewer commuting days shifts the balance, which is why remote work is part of the calculation.
