Why it moves at all
The Danish krone is pegged to the euro within a narrow band, so DKK/SEK is really the euro against the krona. When the Riksbank and the ECB drift apart on rates, your Danish salary changes value without your contract changing a word.
What it does to your month
A 5 % move on a typical cross-border net income is worth several hundred kronor a month in either direction — the same order of magnitude as a small raise, arriving silently.
